Product Implementation Manager

By improving access to affordable and highly functional simulation technology, the company is driving a paradigm shift in the way we train surgeons, placing simulation at the centre of training pathways, helping train more surgeons and improve surgical care globally. 

This role will provide a unique opportunity to work with an integrated medical technology at both a device and digital platform level. You will be trained to become a product expert with a focus on the company’s portfolio of high fidelity simulators and digital surgery platform, Totum. This role provides a fantastic opportunity for those wishing to take on a management role within the medical technology field. 

  • Full time, Ideally located in Tampa or within easy commute of Tampa 
  • Frequent travel across the USA

Commercial Team 
You will be joining a team headed by the company’s Clinical Co-Founder & CEO and reporting directly to the CEO. You will work closely with the existing USA based commercial team who are located across the nation. You will be responsible for managing two direct reports with the potential to grow your team over time. 

 

Role Mission: 

The primary mission of the Program Implementation Manager is to coordinate and manage the installation, customer training and onboarding of Inovus’ surgical simulators at residency program sites across the USA. The Program Implementation Manager will manage the Product Implementation Specialists as they deliver on-site installs and training to residency program leads and associated stakeholders. 

Technical Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors or equivalent qualification, preferably in STEM, marketing, business or economics 
  • Minimum 10 years in medical device or pharmaceutical industry 
  • Minimum of 5 years in device sales, downstream marketing, professional education or a combination of experience 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role with a minimum of 2 direct reports 
  • Proven track record of successful project management, ideally with evidence of managing multi-site technology installations in the healthcare setting 
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time  
  • Must have a valid USA passport and be able to travel to the United Kingdom in the first month of commencing in the role 
  • Proven ability of effective written and verbal communication and listening skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate and project themself 
  • Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction 
  • Ability to effectively work on and manage many priorities at one time 
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook)  
  • Has an approachable manner that encourages interaction with others 
  • Highly driven with a strong motivation to succeed 
  • Clean Driving License valid for the USA 
  • Fluency and clarity in written & spoken English 

 

Candidate Requirements: 

  • A higher degree such as an MBA or Master of Science is preferable but not essential 
  • Experience with digital surgery or SaaS platforms is helpful 
  • Knowledge of minimally invasive surgery and methods preferred 
  • Knowledge of surgical training pathways in the USA helpful 
  • Experience in using CRM systems is an advantage but not essential 
  • Previous experience in giving oral presentations, teaching or training is an advantage 
  • Well organised, able to devise and manage systems for handling customers/ accounts 
  • Ability to be flexible in work schedule and accommodate unexpected work changes
