Mission:
The mission of the Clinical Excellence Manager is to ensure that Inovus Medical and its products are at the forefront of research, accreditation and curriculum delivery for surgical training globally. The Clinical Excellence Manager will provide the grassroots work to execute the company’s Clinical Excellence Strategy in four domains: academic research & evidence generation; accreditation and curriculum integration; evidence dissemination & thought leadership; and product development & validation.
You will be joining a team headed by the company’s Clinical Co-Founder/CEO and the Associate Medical Director. As part of your role you will be working alongside our world-class commercial, product, operations and educational programme teams across our UK and USA hubs.

Key Competencies:
- Must be a highly organised self starter
- Must have good presentation and public speaking skills
- An interest in research and evidenced based practice is desirable
- Must be able to comfortably switch between lay and scientific terms and be able to recognize when to use these for the appropriate audience
- Ideally has experience with and be comfortable communicating with and often directing/managing senior clinicians
- Needs to have an awareness of the commercial side of business and how the clinical excellence role interfaces and supports this
- Good attention to detail and excellent quality-control skills
Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Medical degree or BMedSci is preferable
- A minimum of 2 years clinical experience – ideally in surgical or OBGYN rotations
- Previous research experience and scientific publications are desirable
- Must have detailed anatomical knowledge
- A detailed knowledge of postgraduate medical/surgical training is required
- An understanding of the postgraduate training landscape and training providers (colleges and societies) is desirable
- Experience of medical writing in medical communications environment
- Ability to research medical literature effectively
- Proven ability of effective written and verbal communication and listening skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate and project themselves
- Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction
- Committed to driving clinical excellence and high quality patient care
- Ability to effectively work on and manage many priorities at one time
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Has an approachable manner that encourages interaction with others
- Highly driven with a strong motivation to succeed
- Clean Driving License valid for the UK
- Fluency and clarity in written & spoken English
