Inovus expands presence in Asia Pacific with distribution in Hong Kong and Taiwan

Inovus Medical continues its global expansion plans through a strategic distributor agreement with Medsim Healthcare (Hong Kong). The agreement allows Medsim to market the Inovus Medical portfolio of surgical simulation products, in both Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The collaboration with Medsim is an exciting development for Inovus, as the company expands its presence across SEA, increasing the uptake of its comprehensive product range.

As major companies in the UK are looking to assist Hong Kong and Taiwan with the introduction of smart hospitals and health management models, using the Internet of Things (IoT) it is only fitting that Inovus now presents its high-fidelity technologically advanced simulation products to these two emerging markets.

“We are seeing increasing uptake of surgical training equipment across the Asia Pacific region, as surgeons there focus on improving surgical skills and standards of patient care.  The collaboration with Medsim supports our global aspirations of introducing the Inovus brand and particularly LapAR™  the world’s first ‘high fidelity augmented reality laparoscopic simulator’ into emerging markets, which are rapidly adopting medical technologies to help with core surgical skills training and assisting pre-operative warm up in clinical settings,” Elliot Street CEO Inovus Medical.

“We are delighted to be working with Medsim Healthcare; their knowledge of the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets will be invaluable in supporting Inovus to provide academic and institutional customers with a service that is second to none.” Glenn Cooper Chairman Inovus Medical.

“We are delighted to act as distributor for Inovus Medical in the Hong Kong and Taiwan regions. Their innovative advanced technology products will enhance our existing portfolio and provide exciting new opportunities for our customers in the field of surgical simulation.” Tim Yuen, Sales Director, Medsim Healthcare Education Co.
