Inovus Medical Chairman, Glenn Cooper, has once again been selected by the Department of International Trade (DIT) as an export champion, an accolade that he brings with him to compliment the on going globalisation efforts of Inovus. Glenn is amongst a number of Chief Executives, Managers and Directors from a group of UK businesses, and organisations that support exporting and have been recognised as Export Champions by the Department for International Trade (DIT)

The Export Champions have been selected by DIT for their inspirational approach to growing their businesses through exporting or for championing exporting in their region. As a returning Champion Glenn will continue to promote the benefits of export and encourage and motivate business leaders in the North West to fulfil their global potential, offering them practical advice on how to turn exporting ambitions into a reality and share experiences of how DIT helped him break into new global markets throughout his career.

Glenn said, “I am delighted to have been appointed again as Export Champion by the Department of International Trade. I would like to give a big ‘thank you’ to the Department for International Trade [DIT] for giving me the opportunity to represent the Export Community for a second consecutive year and to share my knowledge and experiences with businesses in the North West region who are looking to increase their exporting activities during 2021 and beyond.”

The Export Champion community, launched in March 2019 as part of the Exporting is GREAT campaign, was introduced in response to a desire from businesses to receive peer-to-peer exporting support.

Glenn brings his 35+ years of export experience to Inovus Medical at a time that the St Helens based business is scaling its export activity. The business is targeting major international markets including North America and Asia Pacific, both of which have already proven to be strong adopters of the company’s portfolio of surgical training technologies.
