Inovus Medical the multi-award winning designer and manufacturer of surgical training technologies will be exhibiting at this years BSGE ASM at the ICC in Birmingham from 21st – 22nd April. The Inovus stand (GS1) in the exhibition hall will feature LapAR the high-fidelity laparoscopic simulator which is at the cutting edge of surgical training. The simulator combines natural haptics with AR digital overlays to produce a highly immersive and realistic training experience. LapAR which has already seen widespread adoption across NHS Trusts, includes the popular distance learning platform that enables surgical trainees to track their training data, connect with senior surgeons, and review simulations whether they are training in a hospital setting or at home.

Along with LapAR Inovus will be showcasing HystAR the very latest in hysteroscopy simulation at this year’s conference. Inovus are proud to be bringing the digital technologies that have been so successful in the LapAR to their hysteroscopy portfolio. This digitalisation is a major step forward for hysteroscopy training.

The third hysteroscopy simulator in the Inovus portfolio, HystAR is already making considerable waves in North America with interest from key stakeholders in US based surgical associations, residency programs and Sim centres.

The Inovus team will not only be exhibiting at the ICC but will be supporting at this years RIGS Intermediate Laparoscopic Course held at Charles Hastings Education Centre Worcester along with providing both LapAR and bozzini hysteroscopy simulators at the ASM22 Laparoscopic Hysterectomy workshop and the Diagnostic and Operative Hysteroscopy workshops being run at the Educational Resources Centre at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital.
