The 2019 Invest St Helens Business Awards took place at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Thursday 7th November. The evening was a celebration of leading organisations from across the St Helens area who have successfully supported the council’s vision in successfully raising the profile of St Helens not just locally but nationally and further afield.

Inovus Medical had been shortlisted for The Excellence in Manufacturing and Logistics award. This particular award provides a platform to showcase excellence in not only manufacturing and logistics in the UK but for the work Inovus is doing raising the profile of St Helens across the globe. It was a great surprise when the announcement was made that Inovus had successfully won not only The Excellence in Manufacturing and Logistics Award but were then celebrated as the ‘Grand Prize Winners’ of the whole event.

Jordan Van Flute, CTO at Inovus Medical stated: “We had a great evening where we had the opportunity to celebrate our teams achievements from the last 12 months and appreciate that these awards, from St Helens council acknowledge the strong and robust expansion of our business and what this potentially means for St Helens locally, nationally and on a global scale.

We have made great inroads into bringing the key manufacturing capabilities required for production of our product portfolio inhouse which in-turn means we have increased our headcount with the creation of an extremely diverse range of technical, creative and innovative workforce all sourced from the local area, which is obviously great for us and the St Helens economy ”.
