Who is this course for?

This 1 day intensive course is for experienced OBGYN surgeons interested in improving on their base in laparoscopic surgical skills. This course is suitable for grades from ST1 to ST4 and those who have prior experience in laparoscopy.

What will I learn? 

This course will refresh the basic principles of laparoscopic surgery, with a focus on EMIGS sign off tasks. The majority of the day will be intense high-volume procedural practice, including the most common OBGYN operations, to rapidly improve your laparoscopic skills.

On the day:

Module 1:

Warm up with EMIGS-based basic laparoscopic skills, tracking metrics to measure improvement.

Module 2:

Master procedural skills with sequential training in pelvic sidewall dissection, salpingostomy, and salpingectomy.

Module 3:

Practice ovarian cystectomy with AR simulation, focusing on precision and performance analysis.

Module 4:

Enhance expertise with myomectomy simulations, excising fibroids in realistic uterine models.

Module 5:

Perfect advanced suturing techniques with vaginal vault closure on AR simulators.

Throughout the course, benefit from continuous video analysis, expert feedback, and performance metrics to refine your technique, identify areas for improvement, and build surgical confidence. From fundamentals to advanced procedures – master laparoscopic surgery with precision and skill.
