Who is this course for? 

This 1 day intensive course is for doctors of any grade, with a focus on obstetrics and gynaecology, interested in building an excellent base in operative hysteroscopy. This course is suitable for grades from medical student to ST4.

This course will take you through the basic principles of hysteroscopy, build your foundation in basic skills, progressing through the EMIGS curriculum and be prepared for real life practice with high volume, high-fidelity procedural simulation training.

On the day:

Module 1:

EMIGS H1 and H2 tasks to master diagnostic hysteroscopy and basic polyp removal using precision navigation tools.

Module 2:

Develop proficiency in adhesiolysis, removing intra-uterine adhesions with tracked performance metrics.

Module 3:

Perfect polypectomy techniques using sharp and blunt dissection under simulated conditions.

Module 4:

Advance to wet-lab procedures for real-world simulation, including:

• Fundal block
• Dilation and curettage (D&C)
• Myomectomy
• Removal of retained products of conception (RPOC)
• Throughout the course, leverage video-recorded feedback, expert faculty and reflective performance metrics to continuously improve your skills. Delegates will complete a
  high volume of hand-on procedures, ensuring confidence, precision, and readiness for clinical practice.

• To practice and demonstrate hysteroscopic dilation and curettage in a wet lab model
• To practice and demonstrate hysteroscopic removal of retained products of conception in a wet lab model
• To reflect and improve on performance using video-recording review and analysis of operative performance metrics.
