Inovus Medical appoints London trained surgeon to drive Clinical Excellence Agenda
Inovus Medical, the UK market leader in surgical training technology, today announced the appointment of trainee Surgeon, David Rawaf, as its new Clinical Excellence Lead. The move is the first in the company’s newly formulated Clinical Excellence strategy that focuses on positioning Inovus as a leader in research, curriculum development and standards in surgical training and simulation.
Rawaf MD, has over 10 years clinical experience having graduated from St. George’s Hospital Medical School before entering surgical training at the world renowned University College London Hospitals (UCLH). David has completed clerkships at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore and Chino Valley & Montclair Medical Centres, Los Angeles. He has an active role as editor for the Imperial College London Public Health Education & Training web publications. Alongside his role with Inovus he retains an honorary contract with North Hampshire Hospitals as a Clinical Knee Research Fellow.

David hit the ground running with his new role as he takes center stage at the Royal College of Surgeons Future Surgery Show this week, where he will be presenting Inovus’ groundbreaking Augmented Reality Technology and early evidence for the impact the technology is having on surgical efficiency.
