Use Posterior CervicalBox to practice and develop the following surgical techniques:

  • Laminectomieslaminoplasties and flavectomies:
    5 (C2, C3, C4, C5, C6)
  • Instrumented surgery:
    Placement of screws and any other type of posterior cervical fixation, according to the above-mentioned levels
  • Instrumented surgery: Placement of any artificial disc and body, according to the abovementioned levels (disc cage, somatic cage, anterior plates, somatic screws)
  • Standard X-Ray and navigation: Simulator compatible with standard Fluoroscopy and CT scan for visualizing the vertebrae
  • Mobile X-Ray: Simulator compatible with mobile X-Ray though the Neurosurgery App (module X-Ray). Marker for the needle included in the package.

Frame

Reusable frame to lock the skin level in a secure position during operating.

Skin Level

Reusable insert providing the following structures:

  • Dissected Skin and subcutaneous tissue 
  • Dissected paravertebral muscles 

Spine Level

Disposable ‘insert’ with 5 operable levels. Includes the following structures:

  • Ligaments
  • Vertebras from C2 to C6 
  • Spinal cord
  • Peridural fat
  • Vertebral arteries  

Slitta

Reusable cradle designed to lock the spine level in place during operating.

Box

Reusable base to house all the components, sits within the soft tissue base ring to ensure all structures are secure during operating.
